Avva Nguyen delivered a strong performance at the 1898 Foundation Preview presented by ICL Academy, finishing tied for third place in the Girls division.
After opening with a 76 in the first round, Avva responded with an impressive second-round 68, one of the strongest rounds of the tournament. Her two-day total of 144, four-over par, secured a T3 finish against a competitive field of junior golfers.
The result reflects Avva’s resilience, focus, and ability to bounce back under tournament pressure. Finishing near the top of an AJGA leaderboard is a meaningful achievement and another strong step forward in her junior golf development.
